The book features wonderful illustrations throughout by VIRGINIA LEE BURTON. Illustrated end papers. The book is a collection of 18 ballads about Robin Hood - please see the photos for the complete list of contents. "Songs of Robin Hood" was a Caldecott Honor recipient in 1948 for its illustrations. Condition: Clean covers and spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. Nice interior - the pages are clean and appear unread with no writing, stains or foxing. The front pastedown and end papers each have a *tiny* area at the top edge where the top paper layer has peeled. Overall the book is in Very Good+ condition.
