A pasted slip at the head of the original paper cover reads that the volume has been reprinted and the formerly missing pages and now sent under separate cover. This copy bound with a 10 page work entitled 'Duckett, or Duket, of Hartham House, Wiltshire'. A number of extra blanks at the front contain extracts from Neasham's North Country Diaries, and there is a fine hand-coloured heraldic plate. A large number of leaves with long closed tears which have been repaired, The bottom left of the original paper cover is lacking and repaired, the upper board, while present , is detached. The sewing of the text block is tight. Bookplate of a previous owner to the front pastedown.Uncommon.
